Hi all! I'm not even going to attempt to list the things I'm suppose to write about the past couple weeks. So, I am starting off new today. I can't believe how Rachel is growing up so fast. She definitely loves to sing and not only does she hum but her humming is accompanied by words (well, as far as she's concerned, they're words). She also loves to dance! Every time that little girl hears a tune, she stops what she's doing and starts dancing!
I've also settled in the groove of school. My schedule has been very busy. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I am in a classroom doing my preservice teaching. Wednesdays are my longest days. I am in school from 11 am to 7 pm which can be very exhausting. We're scrambling a bit to find childcare but we have managed to secure Thursdays with my sister Faith.
There are times when I feel guilty about being away from Rachel when I'm in school. In some cases, it feels as if I have abandoned her :( But, I always tell myself that although I won't be spending time with her, it is for everyone's benefit. In the process, David and I are becoming better team players when it comes to managing home, work, and our little one.
