Today, I was surprised when the cable guy showed up before the time frame given to me by the cable representative. I can't believe he's 10 minutes early!! I'm very impressed. Our family has decided that we are to cut off the cable due to our inability to get off the tube and do something productive... not that we don't ever do anything productive, but it is so much harder to do things when our bottoms are glued to the sofa and our eyes glued to the tv.
There are so many positive things that will becoming from the death of our cable. These are just a few:
- Dinners together as a family
- Chores will be done promptly
- Rachel will actually "play" just like how a two year old should
- Time to relax and talk about our day (quality time)
- More activities outside
- Reading the word :)
Don't worry, we still have our internet and phones so we are very much connected to the outside world. :)
Till next time!
Toddles!
