I challenge you to a duel!

Being a mom surely puts me into a duel everyday.  The challenge? Me versus Tatertot.  I always have to come up with something to counteract her demanding and self centered attitude with love, patience, and a lot of wit.  She's not your average 2 year old.  Her vocabulary is extensive and can reason and argue with anyone like a 4 year old- she's always got something to say and will disagree with me with almost anything.  It's very frustrating.  However, at the end of the day, I get showered with hugs and kisses which is worth the battle.  I always feel as if I'm scolding her left and right during the day and I can't wait till she falls asleep.  I guess Tatertot doesn't share my feelings because this is one of the most wonderful conversations I've had :)


Daddy: What can we eat tomorrow
Me: Don't worry, I got lunch for you
Daddy: honey, you're the man
Tatertot: Mommy, you're the best woman ever, forever
Daddy: What about me?
Tatertot: You're not a woman

LOL!  I know daddy meant the same thing Tatertot said.  :)  She drives me insane and makes me melt at the same time.  :::sigh::::
