How does your garden grow??

Here I am again, reaping the fruits of hubby's labor. I have never watered any of his plants yet, I constantly use them to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, I do admire the plants from afar because I'm afraid I might make them wilt. I have tried in the past to grow something, but I realized that I just suck the life out of it.

Gardening is definitely not my forte. Fortunately, hubby has a green thumb and he's happy to do the dirty work; weeding, mixing yucky chicken poop to make mulch, digging, cutting grass, etc. etc. Our little princess does take interest in daddy's garden. Every morning since the beginning of summer, she and daddy have been waking up at the same time and daddy brings her out for a walk in the garden.

It's great to see that Rachel is taking a keen interest in the plant around our house. Here she is picking guavas. She loves to just eat them right off the tree. She also LOVES picking tomatoes. She'll chew them until the juices run out, discard the rest and point for more ripe ones!
David's brother in law who is a horticulturalist brought us small banana plants last year and look what we have now! Tada!! I can't wait till those ripen. Oh, and I can't forget about the avocados, mangos, and mountain apples!! Still, I have to remind myself to thank hubby for all his hard work in the garden and to let him know that I enjoy picking fresh vegetables and fruits right outside my door. Until next time!
