Great friends are hard to find. We all met in an anatomy and physiology lab when the only seats left were the ones in the back and everyone flocked there. Silence was broken among us when one Jane introduced herself. That was it. We found out we were all in the same lab and lecture class and decided to sit near each other. Although we went our separate ways, 2 married with children (me and Bora), one getting married (Wendy) and one achieving her nursing goal (Jaynie), we still keep in contact via Facebook and by text. We don't meet very often but when we do, we have great conversations with lots of food and laughter. The most important thing is that when I need something, I can count on them, and vice versa. Thank God for great friends!
Today's lunch date was at the Koa Pancake house. Bora and I brought the babies per Jaynie's request. That brought lots of laugh and giggles. Rachel wasn't feeling so good today, in fact, she was a bit feverish. But she wasn't too grumpy. I did bring my camera but I wasn't able to take pictures because I forgot to bring the battery!!! The only picture I have is our dessert: shave ice. I got one with strawberry, mochi balls (tapioca), sweet red beans, and some flan! Yummy! It's not the greatest picture since I took it with my phone.
I can't wait to meet up with the girls again. School is going to start and everyone will have conflicting schedules. Hope to see them again soon!!
