My little Picasso

Today, I vowed to do some cleaning because the weekend passed by and left our house in a total disaster. Thankfully, Rachel took a two hour nap which meant some much needed relaxation time for me. But, the cleaning needed to be done.

I was Speedy Gonzales as I cleaned because I wanted that "couch time" to watch the Lifetime channel (yes, I do watch mushy chic flicks when David's not home). Thank God, I got my wish.

Rachel finally woke up and we had our usual lunch routine and after, I decided to let her experience finger painting. I grabbed my old acrylic paints and squeezed some on to the canvas, and away she went. At first, she was hesitant because I really think she doesn't like having gooey stuff on her hands. I persuaded her by showing her how to do it.
